Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay, the producer and director of the drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the earliest moments of her childhood, like attending rehearsals and watching of plays. Silk is well-known for her tv role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk announced to the fans the joyous news that she had become pregnant during the filming of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning for a fourth season of production. Fourth season premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures.
