Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1997 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 it received a raving review from music blogs as well as the press. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis for a Christmas advertisement from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. To counter her mother's suggestions that people ought not to aim to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather be aware of the significance of them as well as their contribution to society. At age 6 she started playing the piano. At age nine, she, started writing songs. Her family didn't have any idea until she was fourteen. It was never a dream to turn into Aurora.
